Out of my mind book cover

Eleven-year-old Melody has a pictorial memory. Her head is always recording everything she sees. She is the smartest kid in her whole school, but no one knows it or trusts it. Even her teachers and doctors don't believe that she is capable! If only she could talk, if only she could tell what's in her brain, and if only she had control over her body. But, Melody will find her voice.

In this book, my favorite character was Mrs.V! She is strong both mentally and physically! Her fashion sense is tremendous and unique. Overall, Mrs.V is selfless and great. To say so, the characters felt very real to me!

For me as a reader of this book, my favorite part was when the kids in Melody's class did the first practice round of a quiz, and Melody rocked it and she got the highest score in her whole class! That part was amazing.

Honestly, there was one scene that made me cry a lot. It was sad that I had to cry. Melody was left behind and all her classmates and her teacher left her too(SPOILER ALERT)! Sad times! Overall, I enjoyed and liked this book.

Actually, in this book, there is only one thing that could improve. Out Of My Mind didn't keep me guessing or predicting. Of course, it was a great book and I wanted to keep reading it, but any person who is an outrageous reader or even a normal reader can predict what can happen. That is something that the author could have considered.

Out Of My Mind is far better than any middle school life books you've read. This book gives mountains of inspiration for kids and people all around the world! I recommend this outstanding book to all ages.

Finally, the rating! I will surely rate this book 9/10.

Out Of My Mind is a tremendous book and experience.
